Desk9 is live. A new home for focused WordPress plugins, practical Pro upgrades and, soon, a growing collection of WordPress themes.

The idea behind Desk9 is simple: build digital products that solve real problems. No overloaded feature lists, no unnecessary complexity and no tools created just to make the catalog look bigger.

Most Desk9 products start with something I needed on a real WordPress project. A better way to display locations. A lightweight call-to-action. A cleaner way to show Google reviews. Small problems that deserve focused solutions.

The idea — focused WordPress products that do one job well, stay lightweight and remain easy to use.

What is available today

Desk9 already includes a growing collection of WordPress plugins. Some are completely free, while selected products include optional Pro versions with additional features for businesses, agencies and more advanced WordPress projects.

Free first. Pro when you need more.

The free versions should be useful on their own. A Pro version should not exist simply to remove artificial limitations. It should add functionality that makes sense for more advanced or professional projects.

Purchasing a Pro license also helps fund continued development, compatibility updates, support and improvements to both the free and premium products.

Rule of thumb — the free version should solve the problem. Pro should help you take the solution further.

Themes are coming next

Plugins are only the beginning. I am also working on the first Desk9 WordPress themes.

The same philosophy will apply there: clean design, sensible defaults, solid performance and a focus on the things a real website actually needs. No endless settings panels and no unnecessary feature bloat.

Built to evolve

Desk9 is still at the beginning. Existing products will continue to improve, new plugins will be added and the first themes will join the catalog.

More importantly, the roadmap is not fixed in isolation. If you are using a Desk9 product and something is missing, a workflow could be better or you have an idea that would make the product more useful, I want to hear about it.
